Match TV picks up Women’s Euro 2017 rights

State-owned sports broadcaster Match TV has acquired rights in Russia for the 2017 Uefa Women’s Euro, according to the Sports.ru news website.

Match TV will show coverage of all Russia national team games during the international football tournament on its main channel.

Match TV will broadcast Russia’s matches against Italy on July 17, Sweden on July 21 and Germany on July 25, as well as the final of the tournament on August 6.

The Match! Football 3 pay-television channel will show every game from Russia’s Group B, as well as two quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final.

The tournament will take place from July 16 to August 6 in the Netherlands.
