Pay-television broadcaster beIN Media Group will launch its beIN Sports channel in Spain on August 1.
The channel will be distributed by the Mediapro agency to pay-television operators.
Mediapro president Jaume Roures, who announced the deal, said that his agency had been active in the Gulf region for 16 years.
BeIN Media Group has been linked in the Spanish media with a possible deal to acquire a stake in Spanish pay-television channel Digital Plus from the Telefonica telecommunications company.
