Italian commercial broadcaster Mediaset has bolstered its club football content by agreeing three-season deals for France’s Ligue 1 and the Scottish Premiership.
Pay-television service Mediaset Premium will broadcast live games and highlights from the two leagues, along with the Coupe de France knockout competition, from 2015-16 to 2017-18.
Mediaset said the new rights acquisitions will complement its coverage of Italy’s Serie A and the Uefa Champions League.
