Italian commercial broadcaster Mediaset has agreed a deal to televise all home games for Italy’s Pro12 rugby union clubs, Benetton Treviso and Zebre, during the 2013-14 season of the competition.
Mediaset will show the games on its Italia 2 digital terrestrial channel, with Pro12 league officials stating the agreement will also see the broadcaster televise “many” away games featuring the two clubs.
The Pro12 is an annual competition featuring the leading clubs from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Italy.
