The Rapid TV News website said Sportflix will commence operations in August offering rights to leagues including American football’s NFL, the Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts promotion and North American ice hockey league the NHL.

Sportflix’s content portfolio will also reportedly include baseball, basketball, Formula One, football, golf and tennis events.

Sportflix will launch with three price points, with the premium platinum package including the option for pay-per-view events.
