MP & Silva picks up cricket rights

The MP & Silva agency has agreed a deal to distribute media rights for the Caribbean Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament in several territories, including the Indian subcontinent.

According to the Television Post website, the agency has also struck an agreement with Asian pay-television broadcaster Ten Sports to distribute rights for West Indies and Sri Lanka national team cricket matches to broadcasters in the US. Ten Sports had previously sold rights in the US market itself.

The lengths of the deals were not immediately available.
