The MP & Silva agency has struck a deal to distribute media rights for events operated by the Badminton Asia Confederation.
The exclusive worldwide deal will run for three years, from 2014 to 2016.
The agreement covers all media platforms, including online, mobile, betting and in-flight rights.
The tournaments covered by the deal include the continent’s top international tournament, the Badminton Asia Championships, plus the Badminton Asia Team Championships, Mixed Team Championships and Junior U-19, U-17 and U-15 Championships.
MP & Silva already has an extensive presence in the Asian market, acting as a media adviser and distribution partner for the Olympic Council of Asia’s multi-sports events and the Chinese Professional Baseball League.
