The MP & Silva agency has today (Tuesday) appointed Wu Swee Sin as its managing director in the Asia Pacific region, excluding China, Japan and Korea.
Swee Sin joins MP & Silva from the Lagardère Sports Asia division of the Lagardère Sports agency, where he served as senior vice-president of commercial football in Asia and country manager for Greater China. He will assume his new role on February 1.
MP & Silva chief executive Jochen Lösch said: “We will be looking to Swee Sin to build on the success of the company across the region, and help build a strong pipeline of new business growth.”
MP & Silva has also announced that Konstantinos Filippas has been promoted from his position as managing director of Europe to the role of group executive director of content.
In addition, vice-president of sales, Roland Nikolaou, has been promoted to group executive director of commercial.
TV Sports Markets understands MP & Silva is also set to appoint a new chief commercial officer, the role previously held by Roberto Dalmiglio. The agency is also planning other senior management hires and is in advanced talks with candidates.
