MSG Sports sees revenue, net income plummet with fewer games

The extent of the financial disruption on the National Basketball Association and National Hockey League from the Covid-19 pandemic was on full display in the latest quarterly earnings report from Madison Square Garden Sports Corp., as the company’s revenue fell 90 per cent during the period and a $92.4m profit in the same period a year ago turned into a $41.1m loss.
