The North American Soccer League has sealed a rights deal with beIN Media Group that will lead to the competition being broadcast on beIN Sports pay-television channels.
BeIN Sports will broadcast live coverage of at least 34 matches during the 2016 season in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. Coverage will include one live match per weekend throughout the season, as well as five weekday games.
Matches will also be available via the beIN Sports Connect digital platform.
The agreement marks beIN Sports’ first rights deal with a professional sports league in North America.
BeIN Sports already broadcasts live coverage of various other major football events to audiences in North America, such as the Spanish Liga and the Italian Serie A top-tier club competitions.
