NBC Sports Group extends Red Bull Media House deal

The NBC Sports Group, part of US media company NBCUniversal, has extended a rights deal with media company Red Bull Media House for the Red Bull Signature Series action sports series.

The new deal will run for three years, from 2014 to 2016.

The series, which was launched by Red Bull Media House in partnership with NBC Sports Group in 2012, features snowboarding, free-skiing, surfing, motocross, off-road truck racing, mountain biking and BMX cycling.

The deal includes 20 hours of programming per year.

The 2014 series starts on April 12.
