Polish pay-television operator NC Plus has agreed a two-season extension to its exclusive rights deal with North American basketball league the NBA.
Under the agreement, NC Plus television channels will continue to broadcast NBA games across the league’s 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons, while the Canal Plus Sport Online platform will provide both live and on-demand streaming of matches.
NC Plus has broadcast the NBA since 2003 and the new agreement provides the right to broadcast 100 regular season games per campaign, along with 36 play-off fixtures, including both conference finals series and the NBA Finals.
The new NBA season commences on October 27, with Polish star Marcin Gortat (pictured) turning out for the Washington Wizards.
