Sony Pictures Networks India, formerly known as Multi Screen Media, has acquired exclusive rights in India for Premier Futsal, a new multi-national futsal league, ahead of its inaugural season.
The rights will be exploited on the Sony Six, Sony ESPN and Sony AATH channels. Coverage will also be provided via digital service Sony Liv.
The franchise-based league, featuring five-a-side indoor football, will take place across India from July 15-24.
The tournament will be operated by the Futsal Association of India.
