Newspaper group News UK has acquired online clip rights covering the remaining rounds of this season’s FA Cup club football competition in a sublicensing deal with UK commercial broadcaster ITV.
The deal will run until the end of the 2013-14 competition.
News UK already has rights to online clips for the FA Cup for four years, from 2014-15 to 2017-18.
News UK will make the clips available to subscribers of its UK national newspapers – the Sun, The Times and the Sunday Times – from January 4.
The clips will be available via online and mobile devices.
