Premiership Rugby, the governing body of the English top-tier rugby union club competition, has entered into a partnership with News UK that will allow the newspaper publishing group’s online titles access to post-match clips from Premiership matches.
The deal is effective immediately and runs until June 2017.
News UK will make video highlights available for subscribers to online and app content from the Sun, Times and Sunday Times newspapers.
The first match to feature will be tonight’s game between Bath and Saracens.
Mike Darcey, chief executive of News UK, said: “Passion for rugby is shared across members of the Sun, the Times and the Sunday Times and we are delighted to take our clip rights offer beyond football for the first time.”
