NexGTv picks up streaming rights to Sri Lanka-India series

Sony-owned Indian broadcaster Multi Screen Media has reached an agreement for the cricket series between Sri Lanka and India to be live streamed by nexGTv, the digital application of Indian telecommunications group DigiVive.

Sri Lanka will host India in the three Test-match series, which runs through to September 1 and commenced yesterday (Wednesday) in Galle.

NexGTv subscribers will be able to stream all the action live on PCs and mobile devices. The app can be downloaded via the Google, Apple, Windows and Tizen online stores.

Free viewers of nexGTv will be able to watch daily and full-match highlights, preview and review shows, and fours, sixes and wickets compilations via its video-on-demand service for the next three months.

MSM secured the broadcasting rights for the series last month, which is being shown on its pay-television channel Sony Six.
