NFL partners up with 15 Seconds of Fame

Technology and social media platform 15 Seconds of Fame (15SOF) has further strengthened its presence in the US sports market through a multi-year agreement with the NFL American football league.

As part of the deal, 15SOF will deliver fans’ on-camera experiences during NFL broadcasts throughout the 2017-18 season.

Supporters that feature on television broadcasts during games can receive the video moment on their phone through the 15SOF app. The clip can then be shared on social media.

Fans will also be given the chance to access and share videoboard footage from inside NFL stadiums through the app.

The two parties said the partnership will create sponsorship opportunities for brands, included ‘presented by’ features.

Earlier this year, 15SOF agreed a similar deal with Major League Baseball, while it also has partnerships with teams in MLB, along with basketball’s NBA and ice hockey’s NHL.
