NFL’s Packers, Jaguars sign local rights deals

NFL American football franchises the Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars have both secured local media-rights deals.

The Packers have extended agreements with the TMJ4 and NBC 26 local affiliates of US media group NBCUniversal.

TMJ4 will continue to produce, broadcast and distribute most of the Packers’ pre-season games, in addition to weekly programming.

NBC 26 will also continue to broadcast pre-season games and a range of weekly programming, including a new ‘Family Night’ show for the team’s annual family event at its Lambeau Field home stadium.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars have signed deals with CBS47 and Fox30, the local affiliates of the CBS and Fox networks respectively.

CBS47 and Fox30 will broadcast live coverage of all non-national pre-season games in the Northeast Florida region. Games will be split between the two channels.
