NFL’s Panthers renew with local rights partner

The Carolina Panthers NFL American football franchise has extended a local rights deal with the Spectrum News division of Spectrum Networks.

Spectrum News North Carolina will serve as the official cable-television home of the team and broadcast live coverage of the Panthers’ pre-season games.

The channel will also show various other Panthers-related programming.

WCNC, the local affiliate of the NBC network, will also simulcast the Sunday night ‘Panthers Game Day’ highlights show on Spectrum in North Carolina.

In addition, the team will provide Spectrum News with an exclusive re-air video simulcast of its ‘Panther Talk’ radio show throughout the coming season.
