NHL’s Ducks retain regional rights partner

NHL ice hockey franchise the Anaheim Ducks has signed a “long-term” contract extension with local broadcast rights-holder Fox Sports Prime Ticket.

Prime Ticket has carried Ducks broadcasts since the club’s inaugural season in 1993-94 and will remain the home of the team under the new deal.

All 82 of the Ducks regular season games will be televised locally in 2014-15 for the fourth consecutive season. A club-record 75 games will be carried live on Fox channels, including 71 on Prime Ticket/Fox Sports West and four on sister station KCOP-13.
