Nova Broadcasting Group, part of multi-territory commercial and pay-television broadcaster Modern Times Group, has acquired rights for the Bulgarian football’s top-tier Championship, Cup and Super Cup.
The rights will cover two seasons, from 2014-15 to 2015-16.
Under the agreement, the Nova, Diema and Nova Sport channels will show the matches.
Nova already has rights in Bulgaria for the English Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Football League tournaments as well as England national team matches.
Nova launched a high-definition version of its Nova Sport channel last year to exploit its football rights and also show basketball, boxing, field sports, golf and speedway.
