NTV extends Nepal cricket rights

Nepalese state-owned broadcaster NTV has extended a rights deal for events operated by the Nepal Cricket Association, the sport’s national governing body.

The agreement will run for three years, from 2015-16 to 2017-18.

NTV will show at least four domestic or international matches that take place in Kathmandu per year.

The renewed deal is worth about $18,000 (€17,000) per year – a threefold increase on the previous agreement.
