Russian pay-television broadcaster NTV Plus has acquired rights for LaLiga, which operates football’s top-tier Liga in Spain.
The deal will cover the 2015-16 season.
NTV Plus and its Match TV channels will show coverage of the competition.
The Mediapro agency has been marketing LaLiga’s international rights.
NTV Plus already has rights for football’s top divisions in England, Italy and France for the 2015-16 campaign.
Alexander Vronsky, general director at NTV Plus, said that negotiations were taking place for more sporting properties.
