The International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Channel has agreed to broadcast live coverage of the 2017 Winter European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF).

The Olympic Channel began its coverage of the event yesterday (Sunday), with a live stream of the opening ceremony on the official Olympic Channel website and mobile applications.

Daily live coverage, which begins today, will include alpine skiing, curling, figure skating, ice hockey, short-track speed skating, ski jumping and snowboarding.

Coverage of these competitions and other featured sports at the winter EYOF will also be broadcast every day in a 20-minute highlights programme.

This year’s winter EYOF, which runs from February 12-17 in Erzurum, Turkey, will be the first European Olympic Committee event to feature on the Olympic Channel.
