Filipino media company ABS-CBN has acquired rights for the One Championship mixed martial arts series.
The deal covers live coverage of the championship’s events in Asia on the ABS-CBN Sports Plus Action channel as well as regular support programming.
“The Philippines is fortunate to enjoy such a rich martial arts culture,” One Championship chief executive Victor Cui said. “We are also proud to have one of the greatest Filipino combat sports athletes in history, boxing’s only eight-division world champion and Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao, as co-owner of One Championship.”
