Optus makes first change to pricing strategy for sports streaming service

Australian telco Optus has announced price increases for its sports subscription streaming service, Optus Sport.

From August 1, Optus Sport’s new subscription price will be A$24.99 ($17.96/€16.69) per month or A$199 for an annual pass. Eligible Optus customers will be offered a discounted subscription of A$6.99 per month, a saving of over 70 per cent.
