The International Pentathlon Union (UIPM) has launched a new digital platform that will show coverage of its events.
The UIPMTV.org website will be operated by digital media company Digotel and supported by sports production company Sunset+Vine.
The platform, which will be available worldwide, will offer a one-hour highlights programme following each day of action at major UIPM events. The highlights package will feature the first three events of the day, in fencing, swimming and riding, as well as a live stream from the closing combined event.
The website, which includes an individual channel for a series of UIPM disciplines, will have a live streaming as well as an on-demand facility.
UIPM president Klaus Schormann said: “It is very important that we now have a dedicated home for live coverage of our sport, as well as a social media hub where fans can follow the activities of our wonderful athletes all in one place.”
