Digital sports media company Perform has appointed Dirk Ifsen as managing director for Germany.
Ifsen has been promoted to the role from his previous position as managing director of Perform’s sports data company Opta in Germany.
In his new role, Ifsen will assume responsibility for Perform’s activity in Germany as well as neighbouring countries Austria and Switzerland.
Prior to his time at Opta and Perform, Ifsen held senior management positions at a number of media companies such as German cable television operator Kabel Deutschland and the German branch of global e-commerce company Amazon.
Ifsen fills the role vacated by Manuel Lopez, who left in March to pursue new opportunities.
