The British Darts Organisation has agreed a new long-term broadcast rights deal with the Pitch International agency for the global distribution of the BDO World Professional Darts Championship.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the agreement intends to take the event into new broadcast markets.
Held every year since 1978, the Championship is the longest running darts tournament of its kind.
England’s Scott Waites won the 2013 Championship in January, defeating Tony O’Shea.
