PPTV pounces for Eredivisie deal

Chinese online television service provider PPTV has acquired rights for the Eredivisie, the top division of football in the Netherlands, according to news website Netease.

The deal will run for three years, from 2015-16 to 2017-18, and will include exclusive rights in mainland China, the report said.

The rights cover all platforms, including television, online and mobile platforms.

The number of games covered by the deal was not disclosed.
