Swedish pay-television broadcaster C More Entertainment has agreed a deal to show live coverage of Premiership Rugby, England’s top division of club rugby union, in the Scandinavian country for the first time.
C More will broadcast at least one game per weekend during the 2017-18 season, including the semi-finals and final. All matches will be shown with Swedish commentary.
Coverage will commence today (Friday) with the fixture between Gloucester and Saracens.
C More brokered the deal with the RDA TV agency and telecommunications company Altice, which holds international rights to Premiership Rugby in all markets outside the UK, Ireland and the United States.
