Pro12 bolsters video content strategy with Tellyo partnership

Social video production, editing and sharing platform Tellyo has entered into a partnership with rugby union league the Pro12.

Tellyo created video content for Saturday’s Pro12 final, which saw Welsh club the Scarlets register a 46-22 win over Irish team Munster.

The agreement will continue throughout the 2017-18 season, covering all matches and all 12 competing clubs from Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales.

Dermot Rigley, commercial and marketing director of Pro12 Rugby, said: “Thanks to the Tellyo platform we have been able to develop a robust video content strategy that will elevate to new levels the fan experience online through engaging and timely content.”

The Pro12 deal comes after Tellyo struck a similar agreement last week with the International Festival of Extreme Sport (Fise) World Series.

Tellyo was selected to aid coverage of the Fise World Series, which took place in Montpellier, France from May 24-28.
