UK horse racing pay-television broadcaster Racing UK has extended a streaming contract with digital sports media group Perform.
The three-year deal will run until at least the end of 2018, extending a partnership that started 10 years ago.
Racing UK and Perform will continue to deliver live and individual horse racing streams to online bookmakers on all platforms. Coverage will also be available on the Racing UK video console service.
The two parties have also launched ‘Going to Post’, a new initiative that enables punters to view paddock pictures before they place a bet on a race. Going to Post went live in April on an exclusive basis with online gambling operator Bet365 and has delivered over 750,000 pre-race streams in its first 30 days of service.
In 2015, Racing UK delivered approximately 66.3m unique live streams from 34 major racecourses across the UK.
