Horse racing pay-television channel Racing UK has launched a television anywhere service.
Racing UK Anywhere enables viewers in the UK and Ireland to watch live horse racing on three devices – for the same price as a subscription to pay-television platform BSkyB.
Customers can watch Racing UK’s coverage on any three of Sky’s television, desktop, freeview, iPhone, iPad, Android and mobile web services.
Existing Sky viewers will have the option to select two additional viewing devices for no extra cost, while customers on other platforms can upgrade to receive the new service.
“Racing, perhaps more than any sport, lends itself to watching on the move, which is why Racing UK Anywhere should prove extremely popular,” said Richard FitzGerald, chief executive of Racecourse Media Group, the parent company of Racing UK. “It offers greater flexibility and a wider choice of how to watch top-class racing and comes at no extra cost for most existing subscribers.”
The Racing UK Anywhere subscription will also allow access to exclusive content and catch-up services from the channel’s new-look website.
