RTL to show Uefa Super Cup in Germany after DAZN sublicensing

German commercial broadcaster RTL has purchased sublicensed rights to next month’s Uefa Super Cup final between Eintracht Frankfurt and Real Madrid.

The deal with DAZN, the German rights-holder across the 2021-24 cycle, allows RTL to show live coverage of the showpiece match from Helsinki. RTL will start its pre-match coverage at 8.15pm (CET) ahead of the 9pm kick-off.
