Russia’s ER-Telecom launches sports video platform

Russian telecommunications company ER-Telecom has launched a new sports video service.

Sportbox.ru has been launched under the Dom.ru brand, which provides broadband internet, cable television and fixed-line telephony services to Russian residential customers.

Specifically, Sportbox.ru will be available to users of the Dom.ru TV television platform. It will offer live video and highlights from the ongoing winter Olympic Games in Sochi.

ER-Telecom added that the new service will also provide access to 30,000 video clips across tournaments covering 60 sports.
