Ryder Cup to stream opening-tee atmosphere

A live stream of the opening tee of this weekend’s Ryder Cup will be available via the official website of the golf event and various other digital platforms.

Starting at 8am Eastern Time this (Friday) afternoon, RyderCup.com will stream the ‘1st Tee Experience’, which will utilise multi-camera Pixellot technology to stitch together four unmanned camera angles.

The stream is being produced through a collaboration between rights-holders Turner Sports and NBC Sports and the PGA of America.

The stream will be available via the official website and also Ryder Cup applications, GolfChannel.com, NBCSports.com, Sky Sports mobile apps and Facebook Live.

The event, which features representative golfers of Europe and the US, will conclude on Sunday at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota.
