SABC takes over Telkom’s streaming service

South African public-service broadcaster the SABC has launched an OTT streaming platform by taking over the service operated by telco Telkom.

TelkomOne has been rebranded and relaunched as SABC +, which will now include the broadcaster’s three free-to-air television channels - SABC 1, SABC 2 and SABC 3 - as well as the SABC Sports Channel, the SABC’s 24-hour news channel and 19 radio stations.
