Sanzaar still confident of securing UK broadcast deal

Sanzaar remains confident of agreeing a broadcast rights deal in the United Kingdom for international fixtures despite being unable to secure an agreement for the inaugural Super Rugby Pacific season.

Brendan Morris, chief executive of the southern hemisphere rugby union alliance, told New Zealand outlet Stuff that negotiations with “a number of traditional broadcasters in the United Kingdom” are “ongoing”.
