Saran Media picks up WWE rights

Turkish media group Saran Media has acquired rights to events operated by the WWE wrestling organisation.

The multi-year deal grants Saran Media rights to WWE’s flagship Raw and SmackDown programmes, which will be shown via the company’s pay-television channel, S Sport.

The channel will broadcast a two-hour edition of Raw every Saturday at midnight. The show will be followed by a one-hour edition of SmackDown at 2am. Both shows will be televised in Turkish.

Episodes can also be watched through S Sport’s seven-day catch-up service.
