Saran serves up ATP Tour rights extension in Turkey

Saran Media, the Istanbul-based media-rights agency, has retained broadcast rights in Turkey and Azerbaijan to tennis’ ATP Tour.

The new three-year agreement runs from 2021 to 2023.

The deal includes rights to the top-tier ATP Masters 1000, second-tier ATP 500 and third-tier ATP 250 tournaments.

Saran, which has held the rights in Turkey since 2007, has secured the exclusive live, delayed, highlights and clips rights across all platforms, including television, online and mobile.

In November, Saran extended its contract for the broadcast rights to tennis Grand Slam tournament Wimbledon for a further two years in a deal covering 13 territories, including Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Saran last month finalised a media-rights deal with the Asian Football Confederation covering Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
