SBS and Eredivisie Live acquire Euro U-21 rights

Dutch commercial broadcaster SBS and pay-television broadcaster Eredivisie Live have acquired rights for the 2013 Uefa Euro U-21 national team football competition.

Eredivisie Live, which is 51-per-cent owned by News Corporation’s Fox International Channels, will show all 15 games from the tournament in Israel, including all matches featuring the Netherlands U-21 team.

SBS will show all Netherlands U-21 matches at the tournament on its SBS6 channel.

Both broadcasters struck their deals with the CAA Eleven agency.

The eight-team competition will run from June 5-18.
