Vietnamese cable television operator SCTV has acquired exclusive rights to a number of European club football properties.
Under the deal, SCTV has secured rights to the German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1 and English knockout competitions the FA Cup and League Cup. The deals run for three seasons, from 2015-16 to 2017-18.
SCTV said it will broadcast 68 games per season from the Bundesliga, 380 matches per season from Serie A and 288 games from Ligue 1. The agreement also includes 47 games per season from the FA Cup and 15 matches from the League Cup.
