Second-tier English rugby game set to create Twitter history

English clubs Cornish Pirates and Jersey will create history tomorrow (Saturday) when their domestic league game in the second-tier Rugby Football Union (RFU) Championship will become the first rugby union match to be streamed live via social networking website Twitter.

The RFU, the sport’s governing body in England, announced that the game would be shown after asking supporters to vote via Twitter for a second-tier game that they would like to watch on the website.

As well as the live streaming, viewers will be able to choose the man of the match and submit questions that will be put to the head coaches of both clubs before the fixture.
