SFR picks up Primeira Liga rights in France

French telecommunications company SFR has acquired exclusive rights in the country for the Primeira Liga, the top division of football in Portugal.

The rights will be exploited on the SFR Sport channels.

The length of the agreement, which begins with the 2016-17 season, was not disclosed.

SFR Sport will show live coverage of at least one game on every match day.

In other news, Mauritius Telecom’s IPTV service, my.t, will offer coverage of the English Premier League after agreeing a carriage deal with SFR, covering a variety of the telco’s sports channels.
