Singapore FA engages MP & Silva in strategic partnership

The MP & Silva agency has entered into a strategic media and commercial partnership with the Football Association of Singapore, the sport’s governing body in the country.

The deal will run for six years, from 2015 until 2020.

Under the partnership, MP & Silva will provide consultancy services for the governing body’s media rights.

The deal will focus on the Singapore national team and age group teams.

The agency will also offer diversified content and media assets to grow the Singapore national team’s presence and media reach.

MP & Silva will also seek to restructure FAS sponsorship packages to maximise commercial revenue and introduce a new calendar of events to attract high-profile teams to compete in the country.

FAS president Zainudin Nordin said: “This is a major milestone in Singapore football. MP & Silva is an important key player in the football industry and we are delighted to work with them to revolutionise the way we market football and promote our national teams and enhance fan support and engagement. This partnership underlines the FAS’ seriousness about developing football commercially while engaging the community and youth. It will also help us to ensure that our elite programmes are enhanced through this partnership.”
