Digital sports media service SlovakSport.TV has acquired exclusive rights in Slovakia and the Czech Republic for the inaugural season of the Champions Hockey League European club ice hockey tournament.
SlovakSport.TV struck the deal with the Infront Sports and Media agency, the tournament’s exclusive commercial partner.
The rights package includes live, delayed and highlights coverage. The deal covers terrestrial, cable, broadband, internet and mobile rights.
SlovakSport.TV will also handle media production for all home games of Slovakian wild card team HC Košice and approximately 20 games featuring Czech Republic teams.
The 2014-15 Champions Hockey League will run from October until February.
