Indian sports and entertainment pay-television channel Sony Six has acquired the exclusive rights to the 2014 India Open badminton tournament.
The fourth edition of the competition will take place from April 2-6 at the Siri Fort Indoor Sports Complex in New Delhi.
All of the women’s top-10 and seven of the top-10 men’s singles players are scheduled to compete in the Superseries category event.
The India Open will be followed by the Thomas and Uber Cup team championship, which will be hosted at the same venue from May 18-25.
