Sony snaps up Bangladesh Premier League rights

Sony Pictures Networks India has acquired rights to the fourth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament.

The deal covers broadcast and digital coverage of the tournament, which starts today (Friday) and concludes on December 9.

The rights will be exploited on the Sony Six and Sony Six HD, as well as streamed live via the SonyLIV application and website.

Sony will show live coverage of 43 matches across the Indian subcontinent.

The digital content will also feature on-demand highlights and clips.
