French pay-television channel Sport Plus has acquired rights for an ice hockey Olympic Games men’s qualifying tournament in Latvia next month, according to French newspaper l’Equipe.
Sport Plus, which is owned by pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus, will show live coverage of the France national team’s games against Kazakhstan, Great Britain and Latvia from February 7-10.
The winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2014 winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
